Fight The Good Fight – Album Launch 8:30 - Steph Bitter 9:00 - The Bridesmaid 10:00 The One Twos $5 on the door.
Protest punk band, The One Twos, launch their debut long player across three gigs that will feature the album played in full and in album track listing order. This means less played tracks, the reggae infused “Mr. Mean” and guitar and vocal only ballad, “When I Was Seventeen”, will be given a long overdue airing. Rounding out the live launch playlists will be a small batch of the band’s cover songs, by luminaries including The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers and Australian’s own, Warumpi Band.
Catch The One Twos grumbling and bellyaching about the general state of things through their all swagger, no frills punk music at the Fight The Good Fight launches.
Supporting will be The Bridesmaid in only their fifth gig in ten years! Featuring the cream of Bendigo's noise makers, including Keith MacQueen, Brad Bradford (both from Four Lions), Anthony Murphy and Jarrod Hocking, expect the unexpected, but, you know, played super well!
Opening is local lass, Steph Bitter who has grown from a shy young girl who loved to write stories into a passionate and intelligent singer/songwriter. Her hauntingly honest songwriting showcases her raw ability to make the best of her experiences with authenticity and integrity, leaving her audiences nothing short of inspired. Quality way to start the night!
